Summary: This is Coimbatore Special (In Tamil Nadu). This is a perfect side dish for Idli, Dhosas and can have this with rice
- Corriander Leaves – 1 ½ Cup (Finely Chopped) Green Chilli – 6 Black Gram – 1 tbls Fenugreek – ½ ts Oil – 2 ts Coconut (Grated) – 2 tbls Water – 2 Cup Tamarind Paste – 1 ts Carrot, Beans, Potato – 1 Cup (Horizontaly Chopped) Red Gram – 1 Cup Jaggery – ½ ts Salt – As required.
- Fry Corriander Leaves, Green Chilli, Black Gram, Fenugreek and grated coconut in oil. Fry till they turn golden brownGrind the fried Ingredients.Cook the horizontally chopped Carrot, Beans and Potato. In a Pan, add Water, Tamarind Paste, Salt and Jaggery and allow it to boil for 5 minutes. Then add the cooked vegetables to this bolied mixture. Then add Redgram (Cooked and Grinded) Leave it for 10 minutes on flames Serve it Hot!! Tasty Sambhar is ready!!!
