If Johnny Carson was the master of the interview, R. A. Shutt is the master of business dining etiquette.

This book is detailed, practical and illustrated with fascinating historical examples. I look forward to my next opportunity to show finesse and style at a business function.

I now see that my extreme enthusiasm for well prepared food may be distracting to potential business contacts.

From passing the bread basket to discarding an empty creamer . . . all can be accomplished in a way that enhances your impressions on people you may not have a second chance to impress.

Strategic, subtle and even subliminal. This guide provides rules of thumb to keep your audience’s focus on your better qualities while minimizing awkward distractions.

How does one remain courteous to female professionals, while avoiding awkward “women’s lib” moments? It’s all in the book.

The historical examples keep the reading lively and memorable. Wish I had read this book at the beginning of my career!

I will recommend this book to all my employees.
